Aldi shoppers are going wild for bargain slushie machine perfect for making DIY summer cocktails at home
ALDI shoppers are rushing to buy a bargain slushie machine that is perfect for making DIY summer cocktails.
The supermarket giant is known for its great deals and discounts.
One shopper took to Facebook's Extreme Couponing and Bargains Group to share her find.
Aldi is selling a frozen drinks maker for £29.99 and fans say it's great for making summer cocktails.
Customers took to the comments to share their excitement.
One tagged her friend and said: "Frozen daiquiri."
While another shared another slushie maker and said: "It looks like this.
"I had this one years ago and it was really good. We have 2 different branded slush puppy machines and they're not quite as good.
"We made alcoholic slushies in it."
At the time of writing, we couldn't find the slushie maker on Aldi's website.
So it might be worth heading down to your local Aldi to see if it's in stock there.
Bear in mind that price and products will vary from store to store.
It's always worth phoning ahead to your local store to check how many they have available.
You can find your nearest Aldi store using the tool locator on the website.
If you can't get it from Aldi, then Argos is selling a very similar version for £40.
Or Robert Dyas also has one for £34.99 - about £5 more expensive then Aldi's.
You can also try looking out for yellow or red stickers on products that show when they've been reduced.
If the food is fresh you'll have to eat it fast, or freeze it to have another time.
Sometimes even timing your shop to stock up just as items are discounted on the shelves can help you get the best bargains - lots of shoppers have said this is in the evening typically.
Making a list could save you some money too as you'll be less likely to make any rash purchases when you get to the supermarket.
As we previously mentioned going own brand can be one easy way to save hundreds of pounds a year on your food bills.
That means going for "own" or "value" type products instead of "finest" or "luxury" lines.
Plenty of supermarkets run wonky veg and fruit schemes as well where you can get cheap prices if they're misshapen or imperfect.
For example, Lidl runs its Waste Not scheme offering boxes of 5kg of fruit and vegetables for just £1.50.
